I know we can’t fix the bigger problem which is the “foster care system” but at least we can make the experience for the child more bearable and that’s where Paula Wowee™ comes in. A child never forgets the day they are put into the “system” Imagine a 12 inch Plush Paula Wowee doll given to a child to cuddle and comfort the first night they are whisked away in the system.
Our new mission is to raise funds to make this happen. Please show your support by adding us on Facebook under Paula Wowee Foundation. You can also show your support by checking the online store: www.zazzle.com/paulawoweestore
We aspire to bring awareness and funding to support our local partner, Atlanta ROOTS, Inc.

This is a very nice sentiment. It's difficult to know what to do for the kids in the system, apart from pressuring politicians to push for reform, and showing this type of kindness goes a long way. I watched a documentary not long ago about the effect of a toy of their own on very poor kids, and it made an enormous psychological impact. I hope you can make this happen, with the help of your readers.
ReplyDeleteThank You Johnny for the kind words. I have no idea what being in foster care feels like but I know how happy that bunny made me and my siblings feel when we were kids and I just want to spread the joy and happiness to children who need it most.
ReplyDeleteHey Natasha, I just love your blog and the sentiments, emotions that you attach with this entire website really makes me more compel to support the Child Adoption system. You are really doing a great work by promoting the adoption center's work and highlighting them..
